CARRO.Business offers easy-to-use tools to automate the process of managing popular social networks through an accounting system. You can link your CARRO.Business and Instagram accounts, allowing CARRO.Business to automatically post selected items or car assembly sets to your Instagram account.
To link CARRO.Business to your Instagram account, follow these steps:
1. First of all, make sure that you have a business account. If you do not have your business account set up, follow these instructions:
- Click "Settings", open the "Account" section, and then select "Switch to professional account".
- Choose the category that best describes your line of business, then click Business.
- Done! Your business Instagram account has been created. Fill out your profile by following the guidelines below.
2. Next, you need to link your Instagram account to your Facebook page.
- Navigate to the menu, click "Settings", then click the link "Facebook -> "Account Center".
- Click "Set up account center", and then Instagram will prompt you to log in to your Facebook account to link it to your Instagram account. Follow the instructions.
- Once you have set up your account center, you need to go to your main profile page and click "Edit profile". And link you Facebook page to your profile (or create it).
3. For automatic posting to Instagram, you need to send an invitation to your account.
For this, send a request through CARRO.Business by contacting support (https://carrobiz.com/company/ticket/index) under "Connecting to Instagram" and send us your email or link to your Facebook page. Wait for our answer and move on to the next point.
4. Confirm participation in the program
Once we send you an invitation, it must be confirmed at https://developers.facebook.com/settings/developer...
Make sure that you have confirmed your participation in the Facebook program before proceeding to the next step. Please check if you have the CARROBIZ app on your page https://developers.facebook.com/apps/?show_reminde.... Proceed to the next connection point only when the application appears.
5. Once you have created a business account and linked it to Facebook, you need to link CARRO.Business to your Facebook account.
To link, go to "Settings" (https://carrobiz.com/company/default/index#social) on CARRO.Business and click on the Facebook icon.
Then you will see a page on Facebook with a request to connect the CARRO.Business application. Next, confirm access to the application.
After linking your Facebook account to CARRO.Business, go to settings (https://carrobiz.com/company/default/index#social) and select the Instagram page for posting. To view a list of available pages, click "Change".
Select the required account and click "Save changes".
How to post to Instagram through CARRO.Business?
Once the accounts are linked, let's move on to posting. Posting via the Instagram API has some limitations, described on https://carrobiz.com/company/social/index
To create a post, go to "Parts" https://carrobiz.com/catalog/part/index), select the desired part and click "Actions" -> "Instagram post".
After that, a modal window with confirmation of publication will open. You can use it to correct the automatically generated tags and part description. Click "Post" to publish it.
Once a publication request is created, it gets in line and will be posted on a first-come, first-served basis. You can see the post statuses under "Settings" - > "Instagram posts". (https://carrobiz.com/company/social/index)
Attention
Instagram security requires a confirmation update every 2 months. For this reason, CARRO.Business will reset your authorization from Facebook, and then you will need to go to CARRO.Business settings and log in again.
