We may need to quickly add a part based on a part template that has already been added to CARRO.Business. Below you can find a list of possible solutions to this issue.

Creating a part duplicate based on an OEM (original number) that was added before

Let's say you have a part in your database, for example, with the 111 original number. Now you want to add the same part with the same original number. To avoid having to fill in all of the part parameters (make, model, generation, OE numbers, and so on) manually, you can use the OEM search on CARRO.Business.

Creating a part copy by template of a recently added part

It often happens that you need to add a part to the same car, but with no car assembly sets attached. To quickly and easily add a part, you can copy data from the template. That is, if you recently added, for example, a windshield washer pump (motor) for BMW X1 E84 [restyle], you can both fill in all parameters, including part parameters, and copy the car parameters to add another type of part.

Creating a part copy without templates and OEM

In the desktop version of the website, you can create a copy of the auto parameters or a full copy of the part. To do this, use the search bar to find the part you need and browse. You will find the necessary options at the very bottom of the part view page.

1 - All parameters of the current part and car will be copied to the form for adding a part

1 - All parameters of the current part will be copied to the form for adding a part (without info on the car make)

3 - All data on the car and on the part will be copied to the form for adding a part. The system will create a complete copy of it.
